Welcome to our newly refurbished American Respiratory Care Foundation (ARCF) website. We hope that you will find it easier to traverse and will find it more intuitive that the one it replaces. As a reminder, the ARCF is dedicated to promoting respiratory health through the support of research, education, and patient-focused philanthropic activities in respiratory care and we hope this web site will allow you easy access to those particular areas of interest.
It has been a busy first half of 2018 for the ARCF and many of our subcommittees as we continue in our attempts to raise funds to continue our support of the respiratory care profession. As you peruse this website we hope that you will learn more about the opportunities for the numerous awards and scholarships that are available through the ARCF as well as how you can donate.
I also want to remind everyone to save the date for the Annual ARCF Fundraiser to be held on Dec. 3, 2018, prior to the AARC Congress in Las Vegas. This year’s event will be another exciting way to kick off AARC Congress. The venue will soon be announced and we are sure attendees will once again find the event to be enjoyable and as in past years this year’s event is sponsored Vapotherm, Inc.
Finally, I want to thank all of you for your time, efforts, energy and financial support of the ARCF. Without each of you in the respiratory care community, we could not accomplish our Mission as a foundation. But we want to remind you that while our fundraisers are exciting and fun events, you can donate to the ARCF in several ways year round. These are through direct donations through the ARCF which may be tax deductible or through everyday online activities through AmazonSmile or web shopping through companies that will donate a percentage of your purchases to the ARCF.
