Teleflex Award Announcement
The Trustees of the ARCF and the Anesthesia and Respiratory Division of Teleflex are pleased to announce the establishment of the Jeri Eiserman, RRT Professional Education Research Fellowship Award. The $50,000 endowment was funded in 2014 by a grant from the Anesthesia and Respiratory Division of Teleflex, a leading global medical device provider, and will be first awarded in 2015.
The endowment was established in honor of Mrs. Jeri Eiserman’s dedication to advancing the respiratory care profession and her service as an extraordinary leader, role model, and educator. The fellowship is designed to support original university hospital research in respiratory care and airway management. Projects using bench models, animal model or human subjects are encouraged. The award will consist of a $1,500 monetary award, plaque, registration for AARC Congress 2015, coach roundtrip airfare, and one night’s lodging.
Christianna Vance, Sr. Marketing Manager for the Anesthesia & Respiratory Division of Teleflex states “Teleflex is pleased to support the ARCF and the profession”.
ARCF Chairman Michael T. Amato says that donors establish endowments with the ARCF to recognize achievements made by individuals working in specific areas of research. Endowments not only encourage further education and research in the field of respiratory care, but also bring recognition to the named donor supporting the respiratory profession.
