ARCF Announces New Board Member

The Trustees of the ARCF are pleased to announce the addition of Mark Valentine, MBA, RRT to the Board for the 2015 term. Mark is the President of The HEART HOSPITAL Baylor Plano and Denton, Texas. The HEART HOSPITAL Baylor Plano is the first and only freestanding full-service hospital in the region dedicated entirely to heart and vascular care. Valentine is a member of many professional organizations including the American Association for Respiratory Care, the Advisory Board at Ohio State University Respiratory Care, and the Advisory Board at Columbus State University Respiratory Care. Mark also serves as a board member for many community affiliations including Living for Zachary, the American Heart Association- Healthcare Economic Advisory Board and EFW Executive Leadership Council, and the Dell Healthcare Advisory Council.

ARCF Chairman Michael T. Amato says that the Trustees are pleased with Mark’s appointment and look forward to working with him as the Foundation continues in its mission to promote respiratory health through the support of research, education, and patient-focused philanthropic activities in respiratory care.
