Invacare Award for Excellence Honors Angela King, BS, RPFT, RRT-NPS

Angela King, BS, RPFT, RRT-NPS was honored at the ARCF ceremony with the Thomas L. Petty, MD Invacare Award for Excellence in Home Respiratory Care. In serving in her roles as a respiratory therapist and as both the Co-Owner and VP of Clinical Services at Mobile Medical Maintenance in Spencerville, IN, Angela excels in her job and gives the best for her home care patients each day. Angela is very active in patient advocacy and has even battled for patient rights in court. As a respiratory therapist, Angela has gone above and beyond what is expected and what is required to provide service and equipment to her patients. Angela is a recognized thought leader on home ventilation and has been requested as a speaker in over 25 countries.

The Petty Invacare award was established in 1992 with a grant from Invacare Corporation to recognize outstanding individual achievement in home respiratory care. In 2010, it was renamed in honor of renowned physician Thomas Petty, MD, a pioneer in home oxygen therapy.
