Howard Stein, MD Presented with CareFusion Fellowship

The ARCF honored Howard Stein, MD, with the CareFusion Fellowship for Neonatal and Pediatric Therapists at the awards ceremony held in Las Vegas. Dr. Stein’s abstract The Effects of Extubation on Respiratory Support in Neonates on NAVA was presented at the AARC Congress OPEN FORUM, and published in the Oct. 2014 Issue of the RESPIRATORY CARE journal. Stein, who is from Toledo, OH is employed by the Toledo Children’s Hospital.

This ARCF award has been established since 2001 to foster projects in the field of neonatal and pediatric critical care. Projects involving original research in mechanical ventilation are considered in the selection process.
