Literary Awards

All literary awards are presented by the American Respiratory Care Foundation at the AARC Congress 2017. All papers published in the science journal RESPIRATORY CARE are judged automatically, so no application is required. For more information, please email crystal.maldonado@aarc.org.

Mallinckrodt Literary Award 
Mallinckrodt has established an endowment to fund the Mallinckrodt Literary Award. This literary award recognizes the best paper by a first-time author published in the science journal RESPIRATORY CARE between November and October. The award will consist of a cash award, certificate of recognition, airfare, one night lodging, and registration for the AARC Congress 2017.

Draeger Literary Award
Draeger Medical has established an endowment to fund the Draeger Medical Literary Award. This literary award recognizes the best paper published in the science journal RESPIRATORY CARE between November and October. In order to be considered the best paper published in RESPIRATORY CARE addressing mechanical ventilation and its current technology as it relates to respiratory care.  The principal author must be a physician or RRT who is a member of the AARC and with a minimum of BS in RT or health science.   The paper must address mechanical ventilation and its current technology as it relates to respiratory care. The award will consist of a certificate of recognition, airfare, one night lodging, and registration for the AARC Congress 2017.

 

All literary awards will be presented by the American Respiratory Care Foundation during the AARC Awards Ceremony. Since all papers are judged automatically, no application is required.
